Description

The ViscoStar™ detector is an on-line differential viscometer for GPC, best used in conjunction with the DAWN™ or miniDAWN™ in SEC-MALS analysis to determine polymer and protein molecular conformation, branching ratio and Mark-Houwink-Sakurada parameters. It may also be used for traditional online intrinsic viscosity applications, such as Universal Calibration or Mark-Houwink-Sakurada analyses of molecular weight and size, all supported by Wyatt’s ASTRA™ chromatography software. The detector uses a proprietary pump pulse suppression system that eliminates pressure fluctuations due to the GPC pump without loss of chromatographic resolution and dual-Peltier thermal control for optimal isolation of the temperature-sensitive bridge from room temperature fluxuations.
